Each pendant is carefully shaped from fine white porcelain in our studio in Delft, the Netherlands, and finished with luminous 24k gold Kintsugi detailing—an homage to the Japanese art of celebrating imperfections.
The heart pendant measures approximately 1.3 cm (0.51 inches) at its widest point, both top-to-bottom and side-to-side, making it a delicate yet meaningful piece for everyday wear.
What is Kintsugi or Kintsukuroi?
Kintsugi or Kintsukuroi is a traditional Japanese art form that involves repairing broken pottery with lacquer mixed with precious metals such as gold, silver, or platinum. Rather than hiding cracks, Kintsugi highlights them, transforming flaws into features and telling a story of resilience, healing, and beauty in imperfection.
